Stepping into The Shambles cafe in Windsor was like stepping into another world for my young son. It was pure magic! He instantly declared the unique and quirky building felt just like Diagon Alley from Harry Potter, a sentiment that perfectly captures the cafe's undeniable charm. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was enchanting, and the building's character truly shone through. What made the experience even more special was the warm and engaging interaction with the wait staff. They were incredibly friendly and took the time to acknowledge my son's Harry Potter observation with a smile, making him feel truly seen and adding to the whimsical feel of the visit. Beyond the captivating ambience, The Shambles delivers on quality. The coffees were absolutely delicious, providing the perfect start to our visit. And the cakes? Simply fantastic! We indulged in the pear and chocolate gluten-free cake, which was moist and flavourful, and a rich, decadent chocolate brownie that was equally impressive. It's clear that they take pride in their baked goods. For those looking for something a little stronger, The Shambles also boasts a great selection of wine and whisky, with a good choice to cater to different tastes. While we didn't partake on this occasion, it's certainly a tempting prospect for a future visit. The decor inside was also noteworthy – nice and clean, creating a comfortable and inviting space to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Overall, our visit to The Shambles was an unusual and thoroughly enjoyable experience that isn't easily replicated elsewhere. It's more than just a cafe; it's a destination that sparks the imagination and delights the taste buds. If you're looking for a unique and memorable spot in Windsor, The Shambles is an absolute must-visit. We can't wait to return for another dose of its magical charm!

The Shambles hospitality is set in one of Windsor's iconic landmarks and dates back to 1718! You'll can't miss this stunning building because it leans, and there's a story about that too! Located alongside Britain's shortest street, and beside Windsor Castle, there's a great food, tea, coffee, a glass of excellent wine, to be enjoyed within this wonderful, historical venue. We probably came here 4 times on our trip. The food is so yummy and the cocktails were delicious. Super friendly/great service. Adorable atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Came here for right before the 11am changing of the guards, got a great seat upstairs to watch, and had an amazing breakfast. The service, food, coffee, & atmosphere was amazing. We got an iced latte, cappuccino, croissant w/ jam, & bacon sandwich which an egg added. Everything was amazing. I’m very picky with my coffee and I enjoyed this one. The homemade jam was great. I also looove the cozy vibe of this place. 10/10 would recommend

One of the nicest sandwiches I’ve ever had. I had the Chorzio one and my friend had the chicken Ceaser, both delicious. Great quality ingredients and such inventive flavour combinations. I loved it.
